Sleek inset sink for laminate worktops

If you’re planning a kitchen, you’ll have probably realised certain combinations of products just won’t work. Underfloor heating isn’t compatible with certain flooring, while a professional-style spray tap will splash all over a small, shallow sink.

The same is true when it comes to undermounted sinks. Granite, composite and some types of wood worktops are fine to use around them but when it comes to laminate, your only choice is inset. This is because water will eventually seep into the unprotected core.

However, help is at hand with the latest inset sink from Carron Phoenix.

Designed to be as flush as possible, the new Deca 100 (which has a matching drainer) gives the look of undermounted with all the benefits of being inset. Available in this brushed finish, it will cost around £344, with the drainer approx £229.
