Gone to pot

It used to be that I abhorred cooking and would avoid it at all costs, however those days are long gone and with my new-found love of culinary concoctions comes a rather large collection of pots and pans. I’ve got some real beauties – you know, those big old-fashioned pots that are just made for stews and casseroles, right down to my modern super-duper Boomerang wok. And because I am so proud of them, I don’t feel that I want to hide them away. After all, they make me look like I know what i’m doing!Instead, they are stored on a multitude of shelves, in a slightly higgledy piggledy fashion. If, like me, you like to display your utensils, here’s a few ideas to inspire you…
A batterie de cuisine makes perfect use of unused ceiling space.
A metal rail keeps saucepans close to the oven.
Butcher’s blocks are ideal for storing pans – and give you extra worktop space too.
Hanging them on the wall keeps them neat and tidy.
However you choose to store them, remember that they don’t always have to be hidden out of sight!

This is so practical, functional and beautiful. I loved hanging rails the most. They make your utensils work as good decorative accessories for the kitchen.
