Whether it’s the idea of dedicating time to crafting something or because it’s less rigidly uniform, the love for all things handmade seems to be back in a big way.

Take the latest kitchen from Underwood, Argento. Painted in silvery and smoky tones, it not only acknowledges the trend for grey kitchens but it’s also a great example of beautifully made, hand-crafted furniture.

Gorgeous no? It even has these fab hand-forged Wing handles to give it an extra shot of glamour.

Flicked out handles are the perfect finishing touch

Talking of handles, I couldn’t resist sharing the newest designs from Philip Watts Design, Guns and Roses, which are also hand-forged.

You might not want to have them all over your kitchen but as a talking point on a statement cupboard, I think they take some beating. What do you think? Leave us a comment below!

The designs look fantastic especially the design which has mirrored splash backs and black granite. The combination of black and grey looks really stunning.

The darker tones of wood actually work really well against the different shades of grey. We love the guns and roses handles too! Every kitchen should have something different like that.
